Bravo! Vail Music Festival

The Bravo! Vail Music Festival announced its 36th festival season Wednesday, with more than 80 concerts throughout the Vail Valley from June 22-Aug. 3. The six-week festival presents four internationally acclaimed resident orchestras — Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic — alongside renowned chamber ensembles showcasing a rich schedule of inspiring guest artists, classical and pops programming, and new music.
In 1987, founding executive director John Giovando and founding artistic director Ida Kavafian established Bravo! Vail as public 501 (c) 3 Colorado non-profit corporation. Since then, Bravo! Vail has evolved from a small chamber music series to an international music festival with dozens of performances throughout Eagle County, and summer home to the world’s greatest musicians and orchestras.

GoPro Mountain Games
The GoPro Mountain Games are the country’s most celebrated festival of adventure sports, art and music and they return to Vail, CO June 8-11, 2023.
WHAT’S NEW?
- New for 2023, the GoPro Mountain Games will have revamped fishing competitions, additional youth and grom divisions, the CoLab: a Creator Stage in Solaris Plaza, the Gore IV Rafting competition, Go RVing Athlete Lounge in Mountain Plaza and more. The new grom divisions at the GoPro Mountain Games create a more fair, competitive field for ages 13-18 in almost every event. A new competition for fly-fishermen and fly-fisherwomen this year will be the Orvis Species Slam, featuring teams of two competing to catch seven different types of native fish.A hit in 2022, the GoPro Dual Slalom will be returning to Minturn this year. A fan-favorite, the Gates Kids Bike Race will also be returning this summer. Other popular events at the GoPro Mountain Games include DockDogs, the Nature Valley Mud Run, adidas Terrex Pepi’s Face-Off, the North America Cup Vail climbing competition (also featuring youth and citizen divisions), Pacifico 8-Ball Kayak Sprint, Disc Golf Tournament and more.
- The 2023 GoPro Mountain Games will once again feature incredible live concerts throughout the event as part of the Mountains of Music concert series. Free day time music sets will liven the vibe in Mountain House Gear Town (Vail Village) and The Hangout (Golden Peak) each day from Thursday through Sunday.
