  • Gore Creek Trail: Looking for an all-day hike? The Gore Creek Trail is one of the best. It’s 6 miles one-way toward Gore Lake. On your epic hike, you will pass through aspen trees, meadows, Gore Creek drainage, and more, depending on the path you choose. The trail forks, giving you the option to hike toward Red Buffalo Pass or to Gore Lake. There are some steep sections to be aware of, but plenty of rest and picnic spots, too.
  • Shrine Ridge Trail: If time is of the essence, consider taking on this 2-mile trail. This trail takes you past thick pine growth, two small ponds, and to the top of Shrine Mountain. This trail starts at 11,000 feet, making it an ideal trail to cool down on.
